I've taken the time to build a new system for the price checks page, it took many hours to get working properly, but both the admin side and userside are done and ready for new/updated data.

I've got a lot of stuff updated locally to replace how certain pages work with data, mainly making things easier to update and easier to adjust the pages; you should start to notice some of these coming in the months ahead.

It is my goal to get a basic user MySQL integration to get things pulling data from a database, then working in admin scripts and eventually getting some staff to help maintain things around here to ensure we stay up to date (stay tuned for the staff applications which will be one of the many updates ahead).

For those curious, the following are done locally (user side):
Alignment Guide
Cave Locations
Command Listing
Incantation Listing
Price Guide

I'm ultimately going down a list of tables worth of data that I've had the time to input and slowly working with things in the mornings; you'll probably notice more updates completed on a Friday/Saturday as I have more time available.

As always, if you have any sugguestions, I'd love to hear them.

I've created a small "calculator" for figuring the prices of coppers for sale values; you can see this little utility at the bottom corner of the right menu.

I've added a few genaric sell prices in incriments of 5k, I've set it to allow you to edit the values in the URL in case you should have an odd value you'd like to lookup.

I'm glad to announce that today our Guestbook is back online... It had been disabled in June due to abuse and has been repaired once a fix was found.

The issue at hand was that for every 1 legit post to the guestbook, there was about 400 spam messages which where posted using automated tools.

The script provider was able to work with me to find a fix to the issue and I'm happy to say that it's back and ready for new postings :).

I had to do a rather lengthy recode of the articles system to allow "Magic Mail" formatting to look proper; the system was only down for a maximum of 20 minutes, but it's all done now ;).

We've also added an Intel vs Stun article along with several others; so take a look!

For a while now we've had the site setup so that you couldn't highlight or right click; for content protection.

I've taken and restored the ability to highlight items on the site, this has been restored on a global basis (all pages, for all browsers). You will however need to use "Control C" to copy content (as right clicking is still disabeled).

I've recieved the "ok" from Werner last night to publish his articles which are being passed around realm here on RHQ...

I had spent a great deal of time working out the kinks of the Fan Fiction system as a suitable article publication system though numerous tests over the last few weeks while prepairing to ask around for permission on article publications and have finally worked out all of our kinks...

I still haven't built a "Section" graphic for the section, but I welcome you all to check out our new "Articles" section (to the right).

I will be publishing all "worthwhile" articles which I recieve via MM; please be sure that the author name and creation date of the article is supplied, otherwise they will be marked as "unknown" when published.

You can MM your articles to "Wizzeh" within the game (please be sure to make the subject "RHQ Articles: Article Name") or you can submit them via the "Contact Us" page (though I'd prefer MM if possible).

I will be extending email aliases (you@RHQ mail pointers to your actual email address) to all writers who have submitted (and continue to submit) content (via request).

Well, we've managed to get screen captures of all of the new items (which have been introduced in March) that we could think of; if you can think of anything that we've missed, please let me know!

I've finished off the "sets" page for all of the new updates I got via email; feel free to keep them coming!

I've added an "image validation" security check to the contact page due to spam that I've been recieving.

I've added a "pluggers" gallery, and added some images for the "memories" page (though they're in a temporary section named "past places).

We've added a Fan Fiction system to display all of the in-game storied which have been submitted; additionally users can have their Realm fan fiction published here should they want!

I'm still working on getting the beastiary done (lots of work) and VeraGemini is assisting me with the abbreviations page (though it's taking her some time to get me the updates).

I'm looking for screencaps of the various dragons and swamp-creatures, additionally I'd love to get a screencap of what is on their "look at" screen as it'll assist with the beastiary pages.

I'm going to be working on moving the design to the next version, which will include a MySQL backend to several sections for easier maintenance; you shouldn't see much of a chance as it'll mainly be to broaden the site to allow "staff" to update pages vs having to wait for me to get on and make updates ;).

That should be all for tonight, I'm off to dream land...

Thanks to MiniGreg and several others, we've been able to compile a good start on our Glowy Items photos! If you'd like to take a look, go ahead and browse the "Sets" page.

With the assistance of several users (as shown on the maps) I've added town maps to RHQ today; additionally I've also added a Dragon Pit and Sigurds Retreat map as well.

You can find maps on the Maps page to the left.

Well, I finally got around to making sure that all of the links work (feel free to let me know if you find one which gives you an error); most of the pages have 0 content right now until I have the time to update them...

I'd like to give a special thanks to those who have submitted photos of the new items, I appreciate it dearly (and they will soon have their own section).

As of today, the majority of the Gallery is online (which includes our "Blast from the Past" section). Please feel free to check it out!

Seems I neglected to chmod the data storage file for the guestbook so it wasn't quite functioning...

This has been fixed.

The directions to the new cave "Dragon Pit" have been added to the cave directions. Additionally directions to both entrances of Sigurd's have been added to the "Places" page.

We're additionally planning on putting town maps up soon, which will include the newly renovated Sigurd's Retreat.

The mail server is now configured and the contact page is up should you find the need to want to get ahold of me (additionally you can email wizzeh[at]realmhq[dot]com).

Additionally the GuestBook should now be functioning properly; when attempting to code for our layout compatability I neglected to move one of the code segments which rendered all functionality of the guestbook useless.

Well, thanks to a good friend of mine (Digital-Geek at <a href="">EvilHosting</a> we're now up and running on the live server (vs my development enviroment); this means that, well, the site is live for use (though far from complete).

Welp, I've finally decided to stop being lazy and attempt to start this site... It's taken me a few years to get this far (Oracle was always a better resource, then other sites, never a reason for yet another)...

I'm currently taking all ideas for new portions of the site; I understand that a lot of the site still doesn't function, and that a lot of links lead no where, or don't even work...

It'll take a few weeks to get this working 110% so that I can start on various parts of the design... Yes that's right kiddies, this is in NO way shape or form going to be our final design, what you see is just something that I threw together for starters.

If you have articles or screenshots to submit, please feel free to use the contact page, or email them to me directly at james[at]corthell[dot]net (as the email server for isn't yet functioning as there is no reason to set it up yet).
